Giovanni Solaroli

Graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna, he holds a Master's degree in Corporate and Investment Banking from SDA Bocconi as well as a Leadership Program from Insead and London Business School.

He began his career in 1991 at Unicredit working in Corporate Banking, and then, in a thirty-year path of managerial growth, taking the lead of all the Bank's activities in Lombardy from 2015 to 2019 as Regional Manager and then from 2020 to the role of Head of Global Transaction Banking (Cash Management, Trade Finance,  Working Capital services) at Group level. As Executive Vice President, Giovanni was a member of the Executive Committee Italy and of the Corporate and Investment Banking Committee of the Unicredit Group.

Since 2022 he has founded his own investment and consulting company and has collaborated as Senior Advisor with Ways Advisory SpA, an independent Corporate Finance boutique. In September 2024 he became Baker Tilly's Partner for Corporate Finance.

Independent director in several companies, Giovanni has deep expertise in corporate finance, real estate finance, capital structure advisory and family business, having followed significant financing and M&A transactions as well as corporate reorganization processes in multi-sector areas in Italy and abroad.
